About San Miguel de Allende
Whether you have a few days, a week or several months to spare, here is
a bit of information to give you a taste of life offered in the historic
city of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. Tourism is welcomed
year round as it has been named one of the top ten destinations in the
world by Condé Nast Traveler Magazine. Rich in history, 17th century architecture,
ornate cathedrals and charming cobblestone streets, there is an allure
of luxury in San Miguel, a place not to be missed and never to be forgotten.
Nestled in the heartland of central Mexico in the state of Guanajuato,
you will find this charming colonial city rich with the history of Mexico´s
revolution. San Miguel de Allende sits at 6,400 feet among a vast plateau
of rolling hills in the Sierra Madre mountain range. This beautifully
restored 400-year-old colonial silver city, considered by many to be the
most picturesque town, is protected by the government as a Historic Trust
